WELCOME TO YOUR ‘LOSE FOR LIFE’ WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM. 

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for choosing ‘Lose For life’ as your new weight loss system. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed, because although it may seem unorthodox compared to all of the other weight loss systems you have used, it is beyond powerful.

It has been expertly designed by combining both the science and psychology of weight loss, using science-backed evidence and practices to achieve long-term weight loss results where other systems have failed. 

Unlike the current approach to weight loss which is ‘diet-led’, this system is instead ‘behaviour-led’, so its primary goal is to change your mindset, and not your plate.  

This means unlike all other weight loss systems we challenge and change the CAUSE of weight issues (psychological) and not the  CONSEQUENCE (overeating).

This system will completely overhaul your mindset to transform you from a person that has always struggled to maintain weight loss results, to an absolute weight loss powerhouse.

And believe me when I say if I can do it, anyone can because I had spent most of my adult life (and some of my childhood) failing to manage my weight due to a vast amount of emotional and health issues, and it worked for me.

Throughout my own weight loss journey I was advised many times in my life that the key to losing weight and changing my life was to change my mindset, but I was never actually taught the practical steps in how to do it, which frustrated me so much. I knew that the mindset was a complex thing, and that the process of changing it wasn’t going to be a simple quick process, and I was willing to work at it, I just didn’t know where to start.

I remember being an attendee of a very well known commercial slimming club and hearing the leader talk about the importance of changing your mindset in one of her weekly chats, and I asked ‘Linda, how do I actually do that though?’, and her advice was to just “stick to the plan”. And I remember thinking what a cop-out that was, because “the plan” was primarily focused on controlling what went into my mouth, and not controlling what went on inside my head. So it didn’t make sense to me that this was the answer.

But regardless of that lack of insight I was determined that changing my mindset, to change my life wasn’t going to be just a cheesy quote for me, and that redefining my mindset was going to be an actual goal, and so I heavily researched the process. 

I discovered that a person’s mindset refers to ‘an individual’s attitudes, inclinations, beliefs, perspectives, psychological habits and thought processes’. 

It’s sort of like a lens or a filter through which you see everything, and influences how we behave, think and feel.

This meant that it really was a key factor in losing weight, because if your mindset has caused you to think, feel an act in a way that contradicts, blocks or sabotages your weight loss goals, then you’ll continuously end up back at square one, no matter how much you want to lose weight. 

I also learnt that mindsets aren’t fixed, they are fluid, and that with the right guidance and tools can be shifted, which gave me so much hope. 

I wrote a plan, researched all of the practices and tools that could help me, and gradually began to change my mindset, which changed everything for me.

There are five stages to this process, which you’ll be guided through step by step as well as given reinforcement tools to help you. It is essential that you do them in the order listed.

But before we begin on your new and powerful weight loss journey,  I want to just note that it is important to remember that this is your own personal journey, so you must do it at your own pace and speed, and you can refer back to any areas if and when needed. 

And if you struggle at any point, please use the support group, because you are not alone on this journey.
